Bag Design

Lady Baillie (centre) and her two Daughters. Before Leeds Castle was open to the public, Lady Baillie was its last owner. She left the castle to the nation, setting up a foundation so that it could be enjoyed and visited by all.

Week 3!

It's been a busy week at Sir John  this week with lots of news to report.

On Monday, students practised their punting skills:

Tuesday night was Bowling at a local bowling alley

Wednesday night was the Club night at Disco Ballare.

Thursday evening was a trip to Grantchester through the meadows to the Orchard where students tried Cream Tea!

 Also on Thursday was the birthday of one of the newest students. We surprised him with a cake for his birthday just before lunch, where he got sang to in English and Dutch!

Today is also the birthday of one of our members of staff:

Due to everyone having to be up early on Saturday, we are having a movie night in the residence tonight. The two choices of films were Les Miserables and Inception.
