Week 2 at Sir John has gone very well so far. This week we said goodbye to one student and welcomed another. On Monday night, we went to see Monsters University at one of the local cinemas in Cambridge!
On Tuesday, we again went punting. Students who had attended last week showed a definite improvement! We may have some 'pro-punters' by the end of the seven weeks for students that are staying with us for several weeks! Photos to follow soon...
Wednesday saw another 'club night' at one of the local discos in Cambridge: Ballare. It is an international night where students from lots of different Cambridge summer schools attend. This gives them the chance to meet other students from different programs and practise their English!

Yesterday night our activity was Camera Chase! Students were given an artists impression of the centre of town with drawings of a handful of the Colleges. Students had to record the name of the colleges as well as take a photo in front of each one. Some of the photos had to be specific things which made it more fun, for students as well as staff. The first team back won a prize as did the team with the funniest photos. But all in all, everyone had a great time.
